This category contains our selection of bipods. These are a great accessory for your airsoft sniper rifle or AEG. They allow you to rest the rifle while prone or posted up by cover, which gives you maximum accuracy. The ability to rest your rifle reduces fatigue, since you don’t have to hold up your AEG barrel the entire time. Bipods are usually adjustable in length, or can be set in a fixed position. This allows you to rest the rifle at your preferred height. Bipods are also convenient when you want to set your rifle down in the staging area without it laying on its side. Heavy duty bipods are made of metal, but lightweight bipods are made of a strong polymer. Metal bipods do weigh down the rifle more than the lightweight polymer bi pods, but they provide the best precision while shooting.

Q: What is a bipod grip?

A: A bipod grip is designed for the player who wants to use a bi pod and a vertical grip on their AEG. These two accessories take up a large section of rail space, and this device combines them into one. Just push a button, and the bi pod will deploy from the handle. This is a great way to cut down on the overall weight of the rifle and keep the accessories you need. The bipod grip weighs only 6 ounces, which keeps your rifle from becoming front heavy. While retracted the grip is 6.25 inches long, and with the legs extended the length becomes 9 inches. When you’re done, just push the button to release the legs and push them back up into the grip.

 

Q: How do I install my bipod?

A: Most bi pods are designed for one of two mounting solutions: The swivel stud, and a picatinny rail. The swivel stud is typically seen on the front of certain airsoft sniper rifles. To install onto the stud, line up the two sided clamp on the top of the bipod. Position the clamp over the hole in the swivel stud, and begin to tighten the tension screw. This will cause the clamp to lock onto the swivel stud.

Many bipods are designed to latch onto a picatinny front rail. You can install the bipod onto the rail section by first loosening the clamp on top of the bipod. Position the bipod where you would like the bipod to sit on the rail. The bipod legs may face forwards or backwards depending on your preference, although forwards is the common choice. Align the clamp with the rail, then tighten the tension screw on the side of the clamp. Make sure this is tightly fastened, so that your bipod does not move or fall off during play.
